About FYI Training

FYI Training is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and has been operating within the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne since 2007.

They are a multi-campus Registered Training Organisation, offering accredited qualifications within the Early Childhood, Community, and Health service industries. FYI Training currently delivers courses in

  • Individual Support (formally aged care)
  • Ageing Support
  • Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Disability
  • Leisure & Health

As a Registered Training Organisation, FYI prides itself on providing a high quality training and assessment services, where each student is identified as an individual and not a person allocated to a seat! With committed trainers and staff working alongside each other in order to give their students the best education outcomes. They have a high rate of employment transference from students successfully completing their chosen qualification,  as all of their students are trained by industry experts. FYI Training is about quality, not quantity.

Child Safety

FYI Training is committed to child safety.

FYI Training strongly believes that all students under eighteen (18) years of age have a right to feel and be safe. FYI wants all children to be safe, happy and empowered and they support and respect all children. Therefore, FYI Training is committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children.

FYI promotes diversity and tolerance, therefore people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds are welcome. In particular FYI Training:

  • Promotes the cultural safety, participation and empowerment of Aboriginal children;
  • Promotes the cultural safety, participation and empowerment of children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds; and
  • Ensures that children with a disability are safe and can participate equally.

FYI Training has zero tolerance of child abuse, and therefore all allegations and safety concerns will be treated very seriously and consistently with their robust policies and procedures. FYI has legal and moral obligations to contact the authorities when worried about a child’s safety, which FYI follows rigorously.

FYI Training is committed to preventing child abuse, identifying risks early, and removing and reducing these risks. FYI Training has robust human resources and recruitment practices for all personnel and are committed to regularly training and educating personnel on child abuse risks.
