Certificate IV In Disability Trainer And Assessor

FYI Training is currently looking for a qualified trainer and assessor for our Certificate IV in Disability program. 

Looking for a Career Change? Or already working in the VET Sector? We are looking for a qualified Sessional Trainer to deliver the  Certificate IV in Disabilityqualification.

  • A Tertiary Qualification and previous teaching experience preferable - but not essential.
  • Our Training is predominantly classroom based with 3 training sites located in: Epping, Lalor and Kilmore.
  • Class time will be Wednesdays - 9:30am to 3:00pm.. 
  • Must hold all current (and updated) relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Current Industry experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Need to be confidant and  have great communication skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability is a MUST. Need to be able to work in a team environment.
  • We are also happy to look at other Fields of Expertise and qualifications you may have.

Rates of pay are and remuneration will be discussed after review and shortlisting of applications/resumes, as will confirmation of timetables and class schedules.


Skills, Expereince and Knowledge Requirement:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or (TAE40110) including Design & Develop Assessment tools (TAEASS502) and address Adult language, literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills (TAELLN411) (TAELLN401A) (or higher)
  • Certificate IV in Disability (or higher)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the VET sector
  • Must currently be working in the Disability Services industry
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children's Check
  • Knowledge of Mircosoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
